PREVIOUS SCHOOL GRANT PROGRAM
In May 2018 the Luther Memorial School Foundation of Richmond, VA entrusted MALIM with nearly $800,000 in funds to be used to make grants to support K-8 Lutheran schools in the Southeastern District-LCMS. These grants were to be used for projects such as upgrading technology, capital improvements, purchasing curricula, developing fine arts programs, and partially funding additions to school staff. The Foundation intended that all funds would be expended within five years of the gift being made to MALIM. The first cycle of school grants was given for the 2019-2020 school year.
This grant program concluded in June 2021 after all funds have been awarded.
